"Brown Aero is a great asset to anybody wishing to pursue flight training. After flying both at large part 141 flight schools and smaller part 61 schools, I have found part 61 to be more effective and more economical. If you seek greater flexibility and independence, coupled to a high level quality of instruction, Brown Aero is exactly what you are looking for. I would not hesitate to recommend Brown Aero to any of my close friends or for that matter, anybody interested in learning how to fly."
"If there's one word to describe my overall experience with Brown Aero it's PREPARED! Whether sitting for the written exam or completing the check ride, I always felt 100% prepared. In the end, the staff's motivation and years of experience helped me earn my Private Pilot license. I can say, without hesitation, that the Brown Aero training staff will prepare you to be a competent and confident pilot!"
"I had always been fascinated with flight. I vividly remember touring Robert G. Pitts Airport (KAUO) in 1993 with my preschool class. Twenty years later, following an Aviation & Management elective my senior year at Auburn, I knew my desire to fly would remain. I began to research the possibility of chasing this dream in Summer 2019. After speaking with friends involved in aviation, I noticed Brown Aero was a consistent name when asked where to begin."
"I was able to sit down the Regina at KALX and ask an inordinate amount of questions. Every single item was addressed. During a busy day for Brown Aero, Regina, Alex, and Morgan were able to walk me through the process as if I were the only person on their schedule. In hindsight, that’s how it has been every day since. I have always felt that I was valued, and that my goals truly mattered to every staff member."
"I received my private pilot certificate in March, and currently working toward my instrument rating. While there are many different avenues to reach the specific aviation goal, I would not trade my time at Brown Aero. They prepare, equip, encourage, and ensure that a safe and proficient pilot is molded."
"I will always be thankful for the instruction I received and continue to receive. I would encourage anyone who may have the desire to fly…reach out and ask the questions and know that it is not too late to achieve your goal."
"The summer of 2023 after two flight school changes, three aircraft changes, and nearly three years of trying, I thought it would be impossible to get my private pilots license. That changed the day I walked into the hangar at Brown Aero."
"Upon arrival I was immediately met with smiles and encouragement from Regina and her team, I knew that I had found the people who were going to get me certified. My initial meeting, I sat down with an instructor and was able to construct a plan for completion while letting them know I needed to be licensed as fast as possible. The staff worked hard to accommodate my needs, and in the process I got the opportunity to fly with multiple instructors. Something that sets Brown Aero apart from other flight schools is the instructors; a group of phenomenal aviators who are there to share the passion for flight. Many other flight school's staff work to gain hours, at Brown Aero, they work to produce quality aviators. Varying from Purple Heart veterans, to hip college students, Brown Aero has the right instructor for you. "
"I was able to finish my licensing in the perfect timing, being surrounded by people who made me feel proud. I left not only as a private pilot, but a better aviator, student, and friend. Most importantly, Brown Aero helped me rediscover my love for flight.
